Spend is increasing
Digital advertising spend is climbing steadily, it generated more than $890 million for the full year in 2016 and more than $244 million in the fourth quarter of last year, according to the latest IAB/PwC Online Advertising Report.
To put in into perspective, TV might still hold on the biggest share of the advertising dollars at 38.4 percent. However the dropping in TV spend is closing the gap between it and the ever-growing digital ecosystem!
Not getting involved in the digital ecosystem is thus a competitive disadvantage for every brand in the NZ market!
